Exactly! You should keep studying if you are interested! But make sure to have fun while learning it:) That way, you are going to learn the language easier and faster.
Also, remember that nobody speaks the perfect English, even the native speakers. On the TOEIC or TOEFL test, if you ask them which one is the correct answer, someone might say A, but he/she will say, but we use B in daily conversations,too. The point is, nobody is perfect, it's ok to make mistakes! Learning is fun, so enjoy it!

By the way, are you going to Hawaii? Aww, I'm jealous! I lived there to go to school for almost 5 years. I was a really serious about learning, so I think I missed out a lot of excitement. But I do recommend Kailua beach if you are a beach person and have never been there. It's so beautiful. I'm not sure what to recommend in Waikiki area because I came back here in 2004 and so much has changed since then.
Enjoy and have a safe trip to the paradise!

I think Hawaii is a good place to study IF you are diligent.
There are so many Japanese people you can be friends with, so it's so easy to forget what you are there for. But other than that Hawaii is always warm, pretty safe and nice people. That's where I went to study and had a blast.

20年アメリカに住んでいるけど、堂々と間違った英語でトピ立てて凄いです。
Your English is not correct to the native speakers in the way of vocabulary usages. Many Japanese learning English at college in Japan speaks like you, which sounds funny and too literal for us
