1911年にアメリカ陸軍でワクチン接種が義務化された後、
腸チフスと他のすべての予防接種疾患は驚くべき速度で増加した。
1917年には抗チフス予防接種とワクチン接種で19,608人の兵士が入院した。

Patients didn’t die of the flu: doctors killed them with their crude and deadly treatments.
